After enduring a decade-long battle with insomnia, I was on the verge of giving up hope. I had tried every possible solution, from lifestyle changes to consulting numerous doctors, and desperate for a solution, I even travelled to neighbouring countries but all my efforts were in vain. His diagnosis was a revelation, and he identified underlying problems in my nose and throat. A sleep endoscopy and a CT scan revealed a multitude of issues: severe obstructive sleep apnea, septum deviation, sinusitis, massive adenoid hypertrophy, enlarged tonsils, a hypertrophied palate, and lingual tonsillar enlargement. Jay Khandhar, hailing from Jamnagar, was involved in a construction site accident where he had a 20-foot fall. Recently, Mr. Arvind Sumerwal Doshi was brought to Zydus after suddenly developing headaches, weakness, heaviness in his eyes, and drowsiness. His primary treatment was at a local hospital, where an MRI with Venogram revealed a space-occupying solid cystic SOL in his left cerebellar and pons area, with surrounding edema and compression of the fourth ventricle, suggesting a neoplastic etiology. Patient miss Devanshiba, a 20-year-old female was suffering from tethered cord with lipoma in dorsal and sacral region of her back since birth. She was also suffering from sinus and purulent discharge from it. There were multiple pathologies at 2 levels - where the upper level pathologies were duplication of cord separated by bony spur with lipoma & infected dermal sinus; and the lower level pathology was low lying, tethered cord. Baby Shanvi was just over a year old when she fell ill with a fever and cough. Her parents assumed it was a viral illness and waited for her to recover. However, her condition worsened, and she developed viral pneumonia, which eventually progressed to a lung abscess. Worried about her lack of improvement, her parents rushed her to the ER at Zydus Hospitals, where she arrived in critical condition. After enduring a year of bed rest and painful walking, a patient sought consultation at Zydus Hospitals. Following an MRI and CT Scan, the diagnosis revealed bilateral Avascular Necrosis (AVN). Led by Dr. Yatin Desai, our Hip Replacement & Trauma Specialist, along with Dr. Rukesh Patel and Team Ortho, successful Total Hip Replacement surgeries were performed on both sides. Following a Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC), she underwent Microwave Ablation treatment, which is a non-surgical treatment for Thyroid nodule by Dr. Saketh Rao, our Interventional Radiologist & Endovascular surgeon.
