At Zydus, we always encourage natural healing. On this special day dedicated to physiotherapists, we would like to share Ronak Vasudeva’s inspiring journey. He suffered from a traumatic cervical spine injury that left him completely bedridden (muscle power was 0/5) in all four limbs and trunks. During his hospitalization, he underwent limb and chest physiotherapy along with robotic rehabilitation. He was not aware of robotic physiotherapy but was quite supportive while practicing the same.
The journey was not easy for him but the continued improvement was a big motivation. With the dedication of the entire team, Ronak went from being completely bedridden to walking with minimal support. These videos show us his remarkable cooperation and his continued progress. His muscle power rating also bettered to 3/5 (contraction against gravity only). It brings us immense joy to see him walk through recovery when he visits us for his remaining sessions.
