Recently, patient Deepshikha Jindal came to Zydus with an 11 cm fibroid. Upon admission, her Hemoglobin level was a concerning 6.3, and recognizing the need for intervention, the medical team acted swiftly, providing her with blood transfusion and optimizing her condition before the surgery. A laparoscopic myomectomy was performed, which in itself was a big challenge. Moreover, the fibroid, which was so large - was an additional complication, as it had to be meticulously removed by morcellating into small strips, a task even more difficult due to Deepshikha's slim habitus and 46 kg body weight.
